On of only three surviving (and the only airworthy one) of  production run of 500 is North American A-36A Apache (44-83731/N251A) at the Flying Legends 2002 Air Display at Duxford. The aircraft, which is also sometimes referred to as the A-36 Invade, had been dismantled and specially transported to the UK for the show from Chino Warbirds at Houston, Texas. The aircraft is similar to a 'razorback' North American P-51B Mustang with dive breaks and was one of the stars of the show.
