Bristol Type 188 (XF926) at RAF Museum, Cosford. This aircraft was built out of stainless steel construction and reached a speed of Mach 1.88 before its final flight in January 1964. One of only two built, the aircraft was found to have excessive fuel consumption at high speeds that significantly limited flight times.
