Buccaneer S.2B (XV350) at East Midlands Aeropark - Click for Full Image

Buccaneer S.2B (XV350) at East Midlands Aeropark was the first Buccaneer to be converted to RAF requirements and was handed over in February 1969. It was later transferred to the A & AEE establishment at Boscombe Down before arriving to Donnington by road in December 1993.

Buccaneer S.1 (XN964) at the Newark Air Museum was built at Brough and first flew in July 1963. It served in Singapore before joining 801 Squadron on HMS Victorious in January 1964. It later served with 736 and 803 Squadron before becoming a trials aircraft in 1970 at RAE Bedford. After a time at East Midland Airport in the mid 1980's it was transported by road to Newark in March 1988.

Blackburn Buccaneer S.2 (XN974) at Yorkshire Air Museum was the first production S.2 aircraft and first flew in 1964. After serving as a trials aircraft for over 25 years it's final flight was to Elvington in 1991.

Gulf War Veteran Blackburn Buccaneer S.2B (XX901) "The Flying Mermaid" at Yorkshire Air Museum - Click for Full Image

Gulf War Veteran Blackburn Buccaneer S.2B (XX901) "The Flying Mermaid" at Yorkshire Air Museum. It undertook 14 missions and destroyed an Iraqi transport aircraft on the  ground. This aircraft also served in the Falklands War and saw action in Beirut.

Blackburn Buccaneer S.2B (XT288) at the Museum of Flight at East Fortune. Built in 1966, this aircraft initially served with the Royal Navy before joining the RAF in 1972. It spent time with 12 Squadron at RAF Lossiemouth during it's RAF operational career.

Blackburn Buccaneer S.2B (XV865) at Duxford. This aircraft was delivered to the Royal Navy in 196 and served from Ark Royal with both 736 and 809 Squadrons. It joined the RAF in 1978 and served with 208 Squadron at RAF Lossiemouth. It was retired in 1998 and arrived at Duxford later that year.
