De Havilland Comet 1a (F-BGNX) at the De Havilland Aircraft Heritage Centre - Click for Full Image

The fuselage of De Havilland Comet 1a (F-BGNX) at the De Havilland Aircraft Heritage Centre at London Colney. This aircraft first flew in 1953 and was one of the early Comets built for Air France. Following a number of Comet crashes, this aircraft was returned to the UK for tests. The fuselage was left by the Farnborough airfield for many years before arriving at London Colney in 1985.

De Havilland Comet 4C at Bruntingthorpe - Click for Full Image

De Havilland Comet 4C is part of the collection British Aviation Heritage/Cold War Jets Collection at Bruntingthorpe in  Leicestershire. This aircraft served with the Aeroplane and Armament Experimental Establishment (A&AEE) at Boscombe Down and was the last airworthy Comet.

De Havilland Comet 4 (G-APDB) at Duxford - Click for Full Image

Ex-Dan Air De Havilland Comet 4 (G-APDB) can be found at Duxford and is part of the Duxford Aviation Society/Friends of Duxford Collection. Currently under restoration, it can be found in Hanger 1 and is displayed in its Dan Air colours.
